I have completed one of the three goals that I set for myself here for the summer. The Classic Blocks for June are long done. Of course this means that the July block will be released soon. I'll share once I find out what it is. I believe I use the block to make a baby quilt to put in my "stash" in case I need a quick gift in the future.
So I am still way behind on Amanda Jean's quilt along! In fact, I still haven't done a fabric pull and this week she is doing the "reveal" link up! Yep, I'm about three weeks behind! I am off work on Friday for Independence Day and hope to work then. Of course, if I'm with my sister's kids that's off the table!
I did created myself one little thing which I'll share soon. Still writing that post!
I spent this weekend in Dallas and Fort Worth spending time with my husband and reconnecting. It was our four-year anniversary and was a wonderful weekend. We took an archery lesson (still sore from it). My husband was pretty good though I was excited when I hit all the middle target! (And was aiming for it! I will admit we only did it because I found a good deal on a Groupon but we both said we'd do it again!

I did work on some hand work while in the car and during our downtime in our suite! (Aren't we fancy!?!? Not really; it was a gift from my awesome in-laws.) I'll post my handiwork (or hand work?) soon. Hopefully my plan for them will pan out!
Love,
Ashley
