Merry (late) Christmas!
I am posting this a bit late but time has gotten away from me. I have been busily sewing and spending some wonderful quality time with my husband and family.
Quick warning: This is a picture heavy post!
A lovely friend at work asked me to create some gifts for her for family members. I posted about them originally
here. I didn't actually finish them all up until Monday afternoon. Yep, it took me a month to finish the six pieces. In my defense I was quite busy at work and also had to travel to Illinois for my sister-in-law's Ph.D. graduation.
Here are the pictures of the finished products! You can find the patterns in my previous post
here.

According to my friend, her family loved their handmade gifts! That makes my heart glad!
I was also able to quickly finish up a sewing machine cover for my mother using the
November's Classic Block from SewCanShe. It took me most of Christmas Eve but I did get it done. Here's a picture of the front. I completely forgot to take a picture of the back!

I had a wonderful Christmas Day with my mother, sister, niece, nephews and husband. Too many happies to count!
I spent most of yesterday getting my 2015 planner organized. I am excited to share that I will be participating in a few swaps through Facebook in the new year. To help keep me on track, I created a couple of printables. I also needed to get my life in order! I'm still working on the perfect system but at least I have a little one in place now. Here's a picture where I currently!

I'm switching things up by including the above cards but I know that they'll make me happy every time I come across one in my planner.
