Pretty in Pink Quilt

A number of my friends are having babies. My go-to gift is always a baby quilt though I've been changing up my go-to quilt pattern and using new ones.

I used the Quarter-Cut Baby Quilt pattern to create a quilt in pink, teal, yellow, and gray.  I actually used fat quarters from my local WalMart but they are so much fun! Plus they perfectly match the little munchkin's nursery!

I'm so glad I stumbled across the pattern while playing around on Craftsy.

The quilt is actually square but I was in a hurry when I took the photos.

The back is a fun flannel that plays off the polka dots.

I really like how this turned out though I'm wishing there was more teal now! Simple straight quilting was used with a dark grey binding.

Close-up time!

I still have a little bit left over from this project. I wonder how it'll work into my future projects!

  1. What a pretty color scheme--and I like the variation in the prints. I really like making baby quilts, and need to remember this pattern. How big is the finished quilt?

  3. Such a pretty quilt! I really like how the middle strip is off centre, it's a nice change.
