I volunteer with a local dog rescue. In August, when they needed an emergency foster home, the hubby and I volunteered to keep her for two weeks. However, we decided that we just could not give her back and had to keep her! I mean, look at her!!

She absolutely adores sitting in my lap and loving on me. If I'm on the couch then she is sitting right next to me. That is, of course, if she isn't cheesing for the camera!

My husband is a self-declared cat person and doesn't really like dogs but he sure does like her! Especially when she helps him win at cards!

Other than the puppy overload on social media, I have been sewing a good bit. I'm gifting four quilts and three doll quilts. I'll be sharing each quilt in the coming weeks. I promise! I cannot actually share until I gift each one so here's a sneak peek!

Only one other small thing... I decided to revamp the colors and look of the blog. You may have noticed that things have shifted from blue to teal. I noticed that I've been picking up more things in teal lately from my phone case to my purse to baskets for home! Not to mention I nearly bought an entire aisle of teal things in Hobby Lobby!
Welcome back! It's so good to read about what you have been up too. Zoey looks like she is quite the ham :) I don't think I would have been able to let her go either.
