Another Pinwheel Quilt - Pink and Teal

Happy New Year!!

My first published finish of 2018! This quit was technically completed in December 2017 but I just didn't have the time to actually post about it. This quilt was actually the inspiration for the commissioned quilt that I wrote about last week.

This quilts finished at 38" square after washing. I know it doesn't look square here but it is! Each of the half-square triangles measured 7.75" finished.

I quilted this one on the diagonal as well. Happy crinkles!

I had the teal fabric and the fun graphic fabric in my stash. The backing fabric (solid pink) was also in my stash. I did buy the pink fabric purposely for this quilt and, of course, you always need white fabric! I'm quite happy with the end result!

I actually do not know what I'm going to do with this quilt. I made it as I simply wanted to use the fabric that I had - pointedly the teal fabric. If you can't tell, I like teal!

One more pretty view!

I hope I find it a home soon!

  2. Very cute and pretty. I love teal too and have used it in several of my 2017 quilts.

  3. Fun colors. If you really are looking for a home for it, the firehouses and police in our area always welcome this size quilt to keep in their trunks to give to kids they deal with to help soothe them.
