But first, details on a finish!
In January, I shared a pretty teal and pink quilt that I made during my Christmas break. I wasn't sure what to do with the quilt so I shared it in some "for sale" groups on Facebook ... and it sold! The buyer asked if I had a boy quilt as well, but I didn't have one made. I offered to make one in the same pattern in her preferred colors. She wanted dark and medium blue. Her son also likes superheros so I had to incorporate some.
I did some very basic quilting (versus my "go to" diagonal quilting) by quilting in the ditch. I love the little star it make on the back. I also use a blue variegated thread for the quilting.
I really hope that the two children of the buyer are enjoying the quilts.
Now for the giveaway details!
I have been blogging for four years now. While I blogged pretty consistently in 2014, I only blogged sporadically in 2016 and 2017. I'm hoping to create more this year and blog more often as well. For the giveaway, it is limited to the United States as the shipping simply would be too much elsewhere.
The winner will receive three Simplicity patterns for some fun tote bags as well as a handmade tote bag with a zippered pouch.
I will post the winner's name here as well as contact the winner by email. Winner will be contacted no later than Friday, March 9th at 5PM Central.
**Update: The winner has been selected! Once she responds to my email, I will post her name. Thanks to all who entered!
**Disclaimer: This is not sponsored by any company or person. These items were purchased and created by me.**
